Not sure who might be interested, but I found a full vid. of the execution. sm - BigM
Sat Dec 30 16:27:06 2006 It's not a whole lot more than what is already out there, and I'm sure there has got to be better quality than this somewhere. It's not too graphic, but does show the floor release. You can hear them all talking/chanting/praying...whatever it is, it's freaky.
I understand if you delete this, I tried to give enough warning, but I know quite a few people have been waiting to see it.

Sat Dec 30 17:31:21 2006 sm If no one could handle things involving death, there would be no crime scene investigators, no morticians, no hospice workers, etc. Someone is not "out of their mind" for being interested in something that you are not interested in. I am interested in all things medical - from birth to death. Long before I had children I was interested in SEEING a childbirth. I have always been interested in seeing surgeries. I love to watch Dr. G, Medical Examiner. I have participated in the Court TV forums for a long time and everything surrounding crime scenes/murders, etc. is interesting to me, and I am far from alone. When there was a discussion at Court TV about adipocere, I was fascinated. I found out everything I could about it. I am interested in how the time of death is determined by core body temperature, stomach contents, rigor mortis, livor mortis, etc. It is interesting to me. You are probably interested in other things - that's okay. We are different.
And in Saddam's case, I was curious what actually physically happens to the body when a person is hanged. So yes, I was interested in seeing the video.
Am I glad Saddam was put to death? I think he deserved the punishment he got, but someone's death, even his, is never a cause for jubilation. I feel sad that it had to come to this for him. I feel sorry for his family and yes, sorry for him. But then I think of all his victims and their families and I know it was a just punishment.
Sat Dec 30 17:44:09 2006 enjoy dissecting cadavers in anatomy lab, either, but I wanted to learn so I did it. If just knowing he is dead is enough for you - then GOOD! But don't dictate to others what they should or should not find interesting.
Sat Dec 30 16:49:05 2006 BigM wanting to see his demise. He was a horrible creature of the Earth - hardly human. Who wouldn't want to witness the end of this monster?
Sat Dec 30 17:41:00 2006 Becky You're asking who wouldn't want to see his actual demise? Anyone with a shred of decency wouldn't want to see it. Isn't it enough to know the monster is dead or is it really necessary that you look at all the morbid details and squirm in delight when doing so. So have at it. Get your granny panties wet you scum wierdo.
Sat Dec 30 18:50:46 2006 Becky stupid but I don't want to change my name. How silly is that? LOL. I've been around a long time posting with my own name.
Sat Dec 30 17:28:41 2006 nm For those of you who like to see death videos, all I can say is that you've all got a warped mind. Have fun and get your rocks off.
Sat Dec 30 17:33:38 2006 nm The description of your dad.....are you looking for sympathy? Obviously so, but when you enjoy looking at a video of someone dying, you're just as bad as your dad and certainly no better them him. Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sat Dec 30 17:00:01 2006 BigM I don't see anything wrong with feeling either way about it. As with everything in life, there are always choices. Making someone feel like a bottom-feeder for wanting to witness it isn't any more right than suggesting that those who don't want to see it were in support of him.
It's a hard video to find, and I knew there were some that wanted to see it, so I posted the link. Nothing more, nothing less. Those who don't want to see it can clearly see what is inside my post and can pass it by, those who do are probably already watching it.
Sat Dec 30 17:45:33 2006 shelene she did not videotape the execution herself for crying out loud! She posted it AND gave a "heads up" so we could decide if we wanted to view it or not.
God will deal with ALL of us one day. Including you.
